LOT 329 LS&MSRY LANTERN

LS&MSRY - on shoulder of brass top bell bottom frame manufactured by Parmalee & Bonnell. Twist off bell with whale oil burner. Comes with clear cast 5 ¼” LS&MS RY extended base globe. Lantern shows light pitting and dark surface however cleaned for display. Brass top has fatigue split on side and repair on the dome. Lantern has patent date of 1871 on the shoulder. Globe has unfortunate hook crack from top edge. Still very acceptable condition and harder to find this early.
