(Item: CAT75/LOT378)C&LHRR S–Chicago & Lake Huron) Serif letters incised down panel of brass heart shaped lock manufactured by Ritchie & Son Newark, NJ. Iron clevis and shackle does move. This road started in 1873 and has 232 miles of track. It was taken over by the Chicago & Grand Trunk in 1880. This lock was also in a house fire so it has been cleaned. An early and rare offering.
