Railroad Memories

 TEXAS & PACIFIC RY – original binder housing early saddle blanket  style timetables dated from June 1886 to July 1909.  A few of the earliest timetables are in very brittle condition and have been placed in plastic sleeves.  The first timetable that appears complete in the binder is No. 29 and dated August 31 1890.  The edges are brittle but all pages are accounted for.  Condition improves as you get deeper into the binder.  Overall this is a very historic and seldom offered piece that will be a true treasure for the lucky buyer.  The spine is very weak and shows moisture damage.  Without counting each one individually I am roughly estimating about 50-75 timetables are housed in this.  I have taken several photos that will be posted on the website so be sure to check there for better views.  It would be well worth the time for someone to make an effort to preserve these.  I can’t begin to emphasis what a rare offering this is.
