Railroad Memories

   NUMBER BOARDS -  lot of 4 all cast iron plates with stenciled letters.  3 measures 28” x 7 ¼” and include: 7438 ; 5628; & 2506.  The last measures 24 ½” x 7” and is porcelain enameled with number 5136.  Not sure what road these are from however consigned from the Kansas area.  Good wall décor.  

Just a side note, I have received an email from someone kind enough to share his thoughts on these.  He feels that the first 3 are Canadian National steam locomotive tender number plates ( based on the style of numbers ) and also that CN used such plates.  The 4th one he thinks came from the Canadian Pacific I hope this  is helpful  and thank you Robert for sharing the information.
