Railroad Memories

 MONON ROUTE -  engraved on side of silver double handled sugar bowl manufactured by Meridan.  Logo is worn but still very visible and otherwise a nice piece showing light use and ready to display.  After taking a close up of the logo I see there are small impressions above, below and on either side of the logo.  Maybe left over from applying the logo?  It also appears that it may have been re-silvered at one time and in an effort to protect the logo since it is worn it was covered in some way.  At any rate I have attached another photo as well.  This piece is without a doubt a rare offering and will be an amazing addition to any silver collection.  Another amazing offering from the Maffett estate.
