Railroad Memories

    DENVER & RIO GRANDE – in Old English letters on side of silver 2 pint French Coffee pot  manufactured by Meriden. This amazing rare offering is in excellent condition and comes with a letter written to Everett Maffett from Jackson Thode.  It is my assumption that Everett & Jack made a trade back in the 80’s, it sounds like Jack got an Ice Bucket & Tureen and Everett got this coffee pot.  It is apparent from the letter that this was re-silvered at one time which does explain its beautiful condition.  At any rate, the letter is just icing on the cake for this beautifully rare and seldom offered piece that will be a welcome addition to any collection.
