LOT 411 DAYTON LANTERN

DAYTON “The Globe” – brass bell bottom frame with chimney bale and clear unmarked globe. Top marked on the dome “Dayton Mfg. Co. The Globe Dayton O”. I am unable to remove the font which I am assuming is threaded in the bottom. This is an early and rare lantern with a beautiful tapered globe in original condition. Just needs a little polish to make it shine. Does have 3 small hard to see fatique cracks in the shoulder, otherwise ready to display.
