LOT 478 UNION PAC RR LOCK

UNION PAC RR – stamped on shackle of early Union Brass heart shaped switch lock with “S” on reverse. Showing lots of age with edge dings & dents but overall very acceptable and in good working order. This is only the 2nd lock we have sold in over 23 years with these markings and by this maker. Easily dates to the turn of the Century or before as Union Brass merged by A&W in 1887. Understandable dents & dings given its age. A scarce offering missing from most collections.
